My apologies for waiting so very long to update you. I did, in fact, receive several ounces of hankies from several sources along with a whole palette of new dyes a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to do more than look at them, as I am, quite unexpectedly, moving to a new apartment. I have been all in a tizzy looking for a new place, packing, and fixing a myriad of computer problems.
My current timeline is to have a set of colorways by the end of August/middle of September, and be ramping up to full production by the end of September. I’m still not happy with the quality of hankies – all the new ones had vegetative matter throughout – so I’m still seeking the right source. I will be using the unsatisfactory hankies in colorway development, so at least they are not a loss.
I will see you all on the other side of my move!
